One day, I discovered Beauregard! I had not noticed him because he kept such a low profile. He was gorgeous! His mane was made of soft, multiple colors from cream to brown and all shades in between, and it was so thick I could have hidden myself in it! Beauregard belonged to the owner of the boarding facility and they picked him up in WA where he apparently was in a small space with lots of other horses who picked on him. He was full of scars. I could tell he was grateful to be where he was, which was on this 100+ acres area where he could hide if he wanted, and make himself really small and invisible. I really wanted to coax him out of his shell, I had a sense there was so much to him.
